Produced Water Treatment
Our Industrial Water Treatment Plants ideal for Produced Water from the Oil and Gas and Manufacturing Sectors.
We provide the most Cost Effective, Sustainable and Low Maintenance Water Treatment Plants for the discharge to sea in line with Environment Agency Law, Landfill Evaporation or De-Watering, also fit for Recycling for multiple Water Re-Use applications also with TSS Removal and COD Reductions.
Industrial Water Treatment
These Industrial Wastewater technologies required will vary upon the type of Industrial Wastewater flowing from Industrial Facilities with Heavy Contaminants such as Dyes, Oil, TSS, COD, and Metals, most of our technologies generally require minimal Chemical Additions and Low Maintenance meaning less operational Power Requirements.
The main equipment for this Water Treatment Process is Electrocoagulation, Advanced Oxidation, Moving Bed Bio Reactor, MBBR, Membrane Bio Reactor, MBR, Nutshell Filtration, CPI, DAF, ZLD and Super-Flow Multimedia Filtration suitable in Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Textiles, Leather Tanneries, Homecare, Pharma, Steel, Plastics, Food Processing and many more.
Zero Liquid Discharge and ZLD
The ZLD or NZLD Zero Liquid Discharge Systems work on the principle of Vacuum Distillation combined with ZLD Vapor Compression technology using a specialized compressor which makes it an energy efficient and economical method to treat and dispose of Industrial Wastewater from Manufacturing, Oily Produced Water, Reverse Osmosis and most Process Water streams.
The ZLD or NZLD System has clear advantages over other traditional methods of treatment such as Heat Pump Evaporators, Membrane Technology etc.
The high distillate quality allows Zero Liquid Discharge or ZLD reducing fresh water and discharge costs. Our Zero Liquid Discharge systems consume about 15% less Energy and do not need any Additional Chemicals or other Consumables.
The Zero Liquid Discharge systems are equipped with IoT system (Internet of Things), which enables remote monitoring and predictive maintenance and thus reducing costly downtime.
Key Benefits:
Advanced Oxidation and Electrocoagulation
Electrocoagulation and Advanced Oxidation, is the process for destabilizing suspended, emulsified or dissolved contaminants into an aqueous medium by introducing an electrical current into the water or wastewater. The electrical current provides the electromotive force to drive the chemical reactions, when reactions are driven or forced, the elements or compounds will approach the most stable state.
Our Advanced Oxidation process is patented and unique with a combination of a two stage process.
The first stage AO works with static pressure difference, while the second stage AO works with an electro-oxidation principle.
The first stage AO reactor is designed to have multiple orifices, while pumping the water or wastewater at 2.5 to 3 bar, there will be static pressure difference created in the reactor due to the orifice, and the water or wastewater will collapse into bubbles as it looses the main characteristics, during this process the complex pollutant molecules will break down into smaller ones, which will enable the residue in the next reactor to oxidize easily.
The second reactor is designed to have non-contact based electrodes which means the electrodes both Anode and Cathode are not in contact with water or wastewater to ensure long life electrodes.
There is a medium created in the reactor which is in contact with water or wastewater, the electrodes are usually made of Iron, Aluminum, Silica or Titanium depending on the application. The medium receives electrical charges from the Anode and Cathode, this enables the oxidization of pollutants such as COD, BOD, TSS, TDS, Silica, Hardness, and Heavy Metals.
AO is combination of physical and electrical oxidation processes, chemical consumption and sludge production is minimal compared to conventional biological treatment or pre treatment methods.
Generally, this state of stability produces a solid that is either less colloidal and less emulsified or more soluble than the compound at equilibrium values.
As this occurs, the contaminants form hydrophobic entities that precipitate and can easily be removed by a number of secondary separation techniques which are ideal for Industrial Wastewater Treatment such as Oil and Gas Produced Water, Industrial Wastewater, Manufacturing Wastewater, Process Water in Oil and Gas Facilities, Textiles, Adhesives, Mining, Paints, Metals, Steel, Tobacco and other similar Industrial Wastewater streams.
Sewage Treatment Plants
All Municipal Raw Wastewater is collected in a central point to a Sewage Treatment Plant through water networks with a series of pump stations, once collected and stored we can use a variety of Water Treatment Processes including Electrocoagulation, Moving Bed Bio Reactors MBBR, Membrane Bio Reactors MBR, Extended Aeration and Sequencing Batch Reactors SBR.
Dewatering Plants
Starting from an Inlet Flow of Sludge from a Sewage Treatment Plant or Wastewater Treatment Plant to a Dewatering and Filtration Plant which consist of a series of Tube Settlers to remove the Heavy Solid Particles.
The Supernatant will then be Filtered through EnviroTech Super-Flow Multimedia Filters and Chlorinated to achieve a Quality of Water suitable for Drinking Water Standard or can either be recycled to the WWTP or discharged to a River or Watercourse.
Sludge from the Clarifiers will then be passed to Concentrating DAF Units before the Sludge is pumped to the Belt Presses for Sludge Concentrating to greater than 20% Solids for Discharge Off Site.
These Dewatering Systems are especially effective in areas where drying beds are not practical such as Manufacturing, Process Water Treatment Plants and Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants.
Water Polishing Filters
Treated Water generally requires Polishing prior to Recycling and Re-Use, this is due to remaining bacteriological build up following some forms of Wastewater Treatment.
Our Electrocoagulation, Advanced Oxidation, Super-Flow Multimedia Filters or Nutshell Filters will remove the remaining Total Suspended Solids thereby removing up to 99% of the remaining contaminants, fit for Irrigation Water or Secondary Water Services.
Engineering and Controls Solutions
EnviroTech will always provide top quality Engineering and the latest Innovative Wastewater Treatment Technologies to meet all client or end user requirements for an efficient and expedient solution(s) taking into account the various parameters depending upon site and location conditions, utilizing the most up to date Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Control Systems Architecture comprising of Computers, Networked Data Communications and Graphical User Interfaces for high level Process Supervisory Management.
Energy Management Systems
Wherever possible our Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plants will operate with minimal operational Energy Consumption as well as reduced Water Consumption when backwashing Filters, Membranes or Media for Optimal Plant Performance. In some cases, Solar Photovoltaics (PV) may be used to reduce or obviate the necessity for mains Electricity Supplies which is particularly beneficial in Manufacturing and Process Water Applications.
Chemical Addition Reductions
All EnviroTech Water Treatment Plants including Advanced Oxidation and Electrocoagulation Systems are designed to operate with minimal Chemical Additions, this is achieved by due consideration during Front End Engineering (FEED) and Detailed Design Stages.
